Urology Experts is now offering Telemedicine services to our patients. Before you can participate in this program, you will need to contact our office for a short Telehealth consultation. Our office staff will verify your information upon scheduling this appointment.

To utilize the Urology Experts Tele- Medicine Program you must have a smartphone, tablet or computer and you will need to download the Zoom™ app.

At the time of your appointment, someone from our office will contact you with the meeting ID and passcode you will need to participate in the Zoom session. Before the session begins a team member will ensure your connection, identity, and read you the consent to proceed. At that time the provider will join the call.

If the provider prescribes anything after your virtual visit and you are enrolled on our patient portal, any imaging and labs will be placed there. Prescriptions will be sent to the pharmacy as normal. You will receive a call for your follow up appointment for visits.

This format is HIPPA compliant for patient security

What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine refers to the practice of caring for patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other. Modern technology has enabled doctors to consult patients by using HIPAA compliant video-conferencing tools.

Currently, insurance companies are allowing these visits during the COVID-19 timeframe.
